Nollywood actress c has observed what she believes is a noticeable shift in the dating scene, with younger men becoming increasingly open about their attraction to older women.

The 41-year-old actress made the observation during a recent podcast shared on her YouTube channel, where she reflected on changing attitudes toward women and relationships.

According to Adegbite, women have traditionally been made to feel that their prospects in the dating world decline after reaching a certain age, while younger women receive most of the attention.

She, however, believes that perception is changing, particularly as younger men become more confident about approaching women in their late 30s and 40s.

Adegbite illustrated her point with the biblical reference in Psalm 118:22, describing older women who were once overlooked as having become the “premium package.”

She said it is increasingly common for a younger man to openly express interest in a woman who may be 38, 40 or 42 years old, without appearing concerned about the age difference.

The actress suggested that the confidence displayed by these younger men may itself be part of what makes the trend interesting.

Her comments have sparked conversations about changing relationship preferences and society’s expectations around age and dating.

Adegbite’s remarks do not present statistical evidence of a broader demographic shift, but rather her personal observation of what she sees happening within contemporary dating culture.

The actress’ comments add to ongoing discussions about age gaps in relationships and the changing expectations surrounding women and dating as they grow older.
