Former Greater Accra Regional Minister Titus Glover has been elected National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Glover won the position with 2,964 votes at the party’s National Delegates Conference in Kumasi.

His closest contender, Ali Maiga, polled 2,231 votes, while Kwame A. Prempeh secured 445 votes.

Agyenim Boateng polled 105 votes, Emmanuel Korsi Bordja received 135 votes, and Archibold Korletey secured 85 votes.

The election was part of the NPP’s national executive elections, which brought together more than 7,000 delegates to elect officers to nine national positions as the party reorganises ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Glover is a longtime member of the NPP and previously served as the Member of Parliament for Tema East.

He won the constituency on the NPP ticket in the 2012 general election and entered the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

He sought re-election in the 2020 general election but lost the Tema East seat to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Isaac Ashai Odamtten.

Glover’s election now places him in charge of the NPP’s national organising structure as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.
