Journalist Nana Kwadwo Jantuah of Ahemfie TV/Radio has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region to give their Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as COKA, the necessary support to lead the party.
According to Jantuah, COKA has brought stability and fresh energy to the party in the region, and deserves enough time to settle into his role without what he describes as hurried attempts by some members to find fault with his leadership.
He expressed concern over the party's internal divisions, warning that continued attacks against the Regional Chairman could undermine the NPP's chances of winning future elections.
Jantuah further contrasted the situation in the NPP with the conduct of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), arguing that the latter has demonstrated greater unity and discipline even during its regional election season.
He cautioned that some party members could eventually blame COKA for an electoral defeat if they continue to undermine his leadership instead of supporting him.
"If you allow him, he will deliver. Allow COKA to chair because he is the Chair," Jantuah stated.
His comments come amid concerns about internal cohesion within the NPP's Ashanti Regional structures, with calls for party members to rally behind their leadership.
