Ghanaian singer MzVee has dismissed rumours linking her romantically to fellow musicians Kofi Kinaata and Mugeez, insisting that her relationships with both artistes are based on friendship and professional respect.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, the singer said she was surprised by speculation about her and Kofi Kinaata, explaining that they do not communicate frequently despite their cordial relationship.
“Kofi Kinaata and I are friends, great colleagues. We talk once in a blue moon, and we have great respect for each other, but we are NOT dating,” she said.
MzVee also praised the Things Fall Apart hitmaker, describing him as an amazing artiste while stressing that there was no romantic relationship between them.
She similarly addressed rumours connecting her to Mugeez, a member of the music duo R2Bees. The singer described him as a respected musician and friend with whom she has collaborated on music.
“Mugeez is legendary. Another very respected artiste, I respect him very much; he’s my friend. We’ve made music together, we do chat, but that’s where it ends,” she explained.
MzVee’s comments come amid continued public interest in the personal lives of Ghanaian entertainers, with fans frequently speculating about relationships between popular musicians.
The singer used the opportunity to urge those hoping for a romantic connection between her and either artiste to put the speculation aside.
