The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will carry out planned and emergency maintenance in selected communities across six regions from Monday, October 26, to Friday, October 30, 2026.

The exercises will affect parts of Accra East, Accra West, Tema, the Central Region, the Volta Region and the Ashanti Region as the company works to improve electricity supply reliability.

According to ECG, the maintenance activities will include upgrading electricity infrastructure, repairing underground cables and strengthening the power distribution network.

The company said the work forms part of ongoing efforts to address network faults, improve infrastructure and ensure a more reliable supply of electricity to consumers.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas have been advised to follow ECG’s official communication channels for information on the specific communities, dates, and times of planned power interruptions.
