Ghanaian singer Efya has officially tied the knot with her Nigerian partner, singer and songwriter Tomi Thomas, in a traditional marriage ceremony in Accra.
The ceremony, held on Friday, November 6, 2026, brought together family members, friends and several personalities from Ghana's entertainment industry.
Efya, born Jane Awindor, made a striking appearance in a specially designed Kente outfit, while Tomi Thomas also embraced Ghanaian traditional fashion with a richly woven Kente cloth and gold accessories.
Among the notable personalities who attended were Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Abla Dzifa Gomashie, musicians Sister Derby, Becca and Fantana, actress Fella Makafui, and socialite Hajia4Reall.
The celebration blended Ghanaian and Nigerian cultural traditions through fashion, music and other customary activities.
The couple's journey towards marriage became public in February 2026 when their families held a traditional knocking ceremony on Valentine's Day. At the time, Efya's management clarified that the gathering was not a completed marriage ceremony.
Tomi Thomas, who gained recognition as a member of Nigerian music group Loud On Sound (LOS), has also built a solo career, collaborating with international artistes including Buju Banton and Wale.
The newlyweds are expected to hold their white wedding on Saturday, November 7, in Accra.
